LIVING MEMORIAL PARK SNOW SPORTS, INC.

Living Memorial Park Snow Sports is run entirely by volunteers. We are in the process of installing snow making.  This is a small scale, unobtrusive installation, most of which lies underground.  A $20,000 grant from Vermont Legislature and a $5,000 gift from Brattleboro Outing Club have led the way in enabling us to undertake this project.  Our ticket revenues and past fund drives have yielded $21,000 toward this project, be we still must raise $30,000.  We are scheduled to complete the snow making installation by December.  If all goes as planned, we will be able to offer a full 12 week season, from late December 2004 to March 2005. Natural snow will still be wonderful, however we will no longer be dependent on natural snow for assuring safe, snow sporting conditions.

And finally, just as we renew our commitment to you, we ask that you renew your commitment to us.  Living Memorial Snow Sports, Inc appeals for your support.  Your generosity will make it possible for LMPSS to offer:

·        Safe, convenient, affordable (still only $5) winter snow sports (includes skiing, snowboarding, and a 25 meter ski jump)

·        Healthy winter activity for all ages, by day and under the lights

·        Community service opportunities for high school students

·        Revival of snowshoe and cross country trails

·        Special Winter Carnival and school vacation events

·        Lesson programs

·        Pride in a unique, historic feature of our community

·        A way to love winter
